DAC Mission

As members of the Chambers County School Desegregation Advisory Committee (DAC), a group of volunteer students and parents/guardians, we work (or advise the) with the Superintendent and Chambers County Board of Education to meet the agreements and stipulations made with and by the courts to make the schools an equitable, fair, and safe learning environment for Chambers County Schools’ students. Our responsibilities are to review data and make recommendations to the Superintendent. We will work together to be a voice for Chambers County Schools’ students, faculty, and staff and the Chambers County community to consolidate our schools and remove the remainders of segregation.
