"Recognizing that children are our most important natural resource, the Chambers County School System will strive to maintain a climate that promotes and nurtures educational excellence and creativity by inspiring students to challenge themselves throughout life"

Goals:

  • To provide experiences which allow students to reach their maximum potential, emotionally, physically and academically.
  • To provide a well-balanced curriculum and program of instruction which includes problem solving, critical thinking, reasoning skills, basic literacy, and communication skills.
  • To involve parents and the community in the education of their children.
  • To provide opportunities and motivation for the development of a sense of self-worth in each student and a positive attitude toward learning.
  • To provide experiences for students whereby they will develop habits, values, and attitudes that will ensure successful living in the twenty-first century.

Beliefs:

  • All children can learn.
  • Education is a shared responsibility among home, school, and community.
  • All students should be accountable for their educational goals, success, and behavior.
  • All students should have safe and disciplined schools, qualified teachers, committed support staff, challenging curricula and effective school leaders.
  • Educated citizens are vital to our society.
