Chambers County Schools receive the following federal grants:
The purpose Title I is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach proficiency on challenging State academic achievement standards.
The purpose of Title I Part C is to support high-quality educational programs for migratory children.
Title I, Part D: Prevention and Intervention Programs for Children and Youth Who are Neglected, Delinquent, or At-Risk.
The purpose of Title I, Part D is designed to serve delinquent and neglected youth in institutions, day programs, and correctional facilities to assure they attain high academic levels of achievement.
The purpose of Title II, Part A is to provide resources for improving teacher and principal quality. It focuses on preparing, training, and recruiting high quality teachers and principals.
The purpose of Title III is to help ensure that children who are limited English proficient, including immigrant children and youth, attain English proficiency, develop high levels of academic achievement standards as all children are expected to meet. Chambers County Does not receive Title II funds but we do serve English Learners.
The Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) program is intended to help meet these goals by increasing the capacity of State educational agencies (SEAs), local educational agencies (LEAs), schools, and local communities to: 1) provide all students with access to a well-rounded education, 2) improve school conditions for student learning, and 3) improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students.
